Use PayPal with Crypto
Link SolCard to your PayPal wallet and use it for merchant checkout, invoices, and recurring billing while PayPal keeps the seller-facing flow intact.
Set up PayPal the way PayPal actually bills
Add SolCard to your PayPal wallet
Link SolCard in Wallet like any other eligible card so it can appear as a funding option when you check out, pay a request, or review a billing agreement.
Choose the right PayPal funding path
Set SolCard as your preferred way to pay for one-time online purchases, or assign it to a specific automatic payment agreement if you want a subscription or saved merchant billing flow to use that card.
Pay through checkout, invoices, or renewals
Complete the PayPal flow you need at the merchant site, inside an invoice, or in a saved billing agreement. If you are an eligible U.S. customer with a PayPal crypto balance, Checkout with Crypto may also appear for qualifying purchases.
Why SolCard fits PayPal's wallet rules
PayPal lets account holders add major card networks and pick a preferred way to pay, so SolCard can sit inside the same Wallet setup you already use for PayPal checkout and items-and-services payments.
PayPal's own help docs note that changing your general preferred payment method does not automatically update subscriptions, billing agreements, or other automatic payments. SolCard works best when you assign it directly to the merchant agreement that will renew.
For some payments, PayPal may use a backup funding source if the selected method is unavailable or cannot cover the full amount. On automatic payments, PayPal says that backup usage may only be visible after the charge completes.
When a seller sends you a PayPal invoice, PayPal can present the payment methods already stored in your Wallet. PayPal also says Wallet-funded invoice payments are covered by Purchase Protection, which matters for contractor bills and other invoice-based purchases.
PayPal returns refunds to the original payment method. That means a card-funded refund can take longer than a balance refund, with credit cards potentially taking one to two billing cycles and debit cards often clearing faster.
PayPal does support Checkout with Crypto for eligible U.S. customers with sufficient crypto in a PayPal Balance account, but the feature only appears on eligible purchases and one cryptocurrency must cover the full amount. SolCard is broader when your assets sit outside PayPal.

About PayPal
Use SolCard as a linked payment method in PayPal to fund merchant checkouts, invoices, items-and-services payments, and recurring billing agreements from crypto without converting manually first. PayPal is a digital wallet and payment layer rather than a single store, so the important billing details live inside Wallet: one preferred payment method for everyday checkout, separate funding settings for automatic payments, possible backup funding when a chosen source cannot cover the charge, and refunds that return to the original method. PayPal also offers Checkout with Crypto for eligible U.S. customers with PayPal Balance accounts, but that path is narrower than simply linking SolCard and using PayPal's standard checkout flow.
PayPal Funding Questions
SolCard is most useful anywhere PayPal lets you choose a wallet funding source: merchant checkout pages that support PayPal, items-and-services payments, PayPal invoices, and automatic payment agreements such as subscriptions or saved seller billing. The exact options still depend on the seller, the website or app you are using, and your region.
